The GE Profile Electric Range is one of the highest rated ranges in consumer reports. This range is available in white, stainless steel, and black. You can be sure to find one which goes well with your kitchen’s color scheme.
One thing you need to remember is that this is an electric range. If you already have gas lines run into your kitchen, you are probably better off getting a gas range. Those are more energy efficient and will cost less in the long run. However, if you are not hooked up into gas lines, and do not use liquid propane, then an electric range is great.

What is a mini Kegerator? Well, I guess first I should explain what a kegerator is. A kegerator is a device which dispenses and cools a keg. A mini kegerator, then does the same thing, except for mini kegs.
Make sure you buy one which includes a cleaning kit, or buy a cleaning kit separately. These things can get sticky after use and you don’t want it to stay that way!
Many kegerators come with a feature to keep your beer at the optimal temperature. Try to get one which has this feature.
These generally use 5L mini kegs. You can get these kegs at almost any liquor store.
You can also get them with windows. This way you can see inside which type of beer you are serving.
Look for a feature which releases CO2 every time the tap is turned on. This will help keep your beer consistent.
Price ranges from $100 to several thousand, depending on features and quality.

The Haier HDC1804TW is one of my favorite dishwashers available. For those of use with older, or smaller kitchens, a tabletop dishwasher is great. It doesn’t take up room which would have been cabinet space. Instead, it simply takes up a bit of counter space, only about three to four square feet.
This dishwasher is perfect for a small family. It will fit four full place settings and clean them thoroughly. This is especially good for family’s with small children, as washing the dishes will now be one thing that you will not have to worry about.
This model includes a stainless-steel spray arm and tub which won’t chip, crack, or rust. It also includes a removable lower rack. This, and the heavy ‘pots and pans’ setting will allow you to even wash your dirty pots in this tabletop dishwasher.
You can choose from three different automatic wash cycles: heavy, normal and gentle, from it’s electronic touch pad controls. This gives you the perfect washing every time. All you need to do is add soap and push a button.
One of the best things about this Haier HDC1804TW tabletop dishwasher is how easy it is to set up. Most people will not keep it on their counter, but will instead keep it in a cabinet. It has a quick-sink-connect feature, which allows anyone to set it up easily and quickly. Or, if you so choose, you can have it permanently installed, which is also pretty easy to do. At fifty six pounds, it really isn’t very hard to move around or store if needed.
It measures 18-8/9 by 22-3/5 by 17-1/5 inches, which means it will not take up a ton of counter space and will easily fit into a cabinet for storage.
This has gotten five star reviews on every site I have looked at. This is my tabletop dishwasher of choice for the small family in a small home.

The things that can be found in normal tap water could really scare you. Germs, additives, bugs and more are found regularly in tap water. Most tap water, even safe to drink tap water, can make you sick due to the things which are in it. A great solution to this is to get a GE water purifier.
There are three types of water purifiers available for the home: a faucet purifier, a pitcher purifier and a whole house purifier. A pitcher purifier is when you are generally okay with the state of your tap water, but choose not to drink it. The water will come straight from the tap and you will put it into a pitcher which has a filter on it. This will give you clean drinking water.
If you feel your water is unsafe and do not wish to cook or wash dishes with it, then a faucet GE water purifier is for you. This attaches to your faucet and filters all of your water as it comes out. There are versions of these with flavors as well as options to turn it off.
The last option is for when you are truly unhappy with your home’s water. It is so bad that you do not want to bathe in it, you do not want to wash your clothes in it, etc. This one is much harder to install than the faucet one and is much more expensive. The 14 cubic foot refrigerator is one of the smallest ‘full size’ refrigerators available. That makes it also one of the cheapest. If you live in a small space, like a studio apartment, or simply do not need much space in your fridge, then this can be a great option for you. A small fridge means less to clean and maintain and lower energy costs.
Just about every manufacturer makes a 14 cubic foot refrigerator. From GE to Samsung and all of the other popular appliance brands. The options are a bit limited with these smaller fridges, but that just keeps the prices very low.
One of the issues with buying a 14 cubic foot refrigerator is that they tend to only come in the traditional freezer on top, fridge on bottom configuration. You generally cannot find a French door refrigerator in this size or a bottom drawer fridge either.
The refrigerators are a great way to save money in the short and long run. This is because they cost less in the outset due to their size and lack of features. It is also because they run a much smaller energy bill due to their smaller size.

If you are looking to remodel or redecorate your kitchen, you may want to think about going with a retro kitchen style. These are becoming quite popular today. An even more popular style is the semi-retro kitchen. This type of kitchen uses design elements from retro kitchens and from modern kitchens as well.
When you decide to go retro, you have an important decision to make. Are you going to be using vintage appliances, or new appliances which simply look retro? Using vintage appliances will save you money in the short run and will look great, however, they tend to be much less energy efficient and more prone to breaking. If you are trying to save money, you may wish to go with a vinyl or laminate floor instead. These can be easy to install, so you may install them yourself if you wish.
Cabinets are another huge consideration for a retro kitchen. If your current cabinets do not need to be replaced, then I suggest that you simply reface your cabinets. This costs a lot less and can completely turn around the look of your kitchen.

If you have a garage with garage doors on your home, then you are going to want to at least think about buying garage door locks. Without them, it can be really simple to just open your garage door and take whatever is inside. Many, many burglaries happen this way. These should be considered a standard in your home security system.
You will need to make sure that the locks you choose work with your garage door. Although most locks are standard, styles may differ from carriage doors to traditional doors. You must get one which is made for your type of door.
Most garage door locks are much like regular door locks. They have a keyhole and open with a key. Once the key has unlocked the door, you need to turn the handle to let yourself in. There are also ones which are more high tech, more expensive, but also more convenient. For example, there are ones with number key-pads which allow you to set a password. Only those who know the code and type it in correctly will be allowed inside. Another, even more expensive version is one which reads fingerprints. You fingerprints are scanned when you get the lock and you will only be allowed in if your fingerprints match those which have been scanned. This is just not good if you have someone new who needs to get in and you are not there.
As with anything else you buy for your home, and especially something which effects the safety of those who live there, be sure to do some research prior to buying the locks. You will want to be sure that you purchase the best ones for your family at the best price.

More and more people are enjoying the luxury of a dishwasher in their home. Although not too long ago, this was unheard of, now many people have these and consider them a necessity. One of the most popular dishwashers today is the stainless dishwasher.

When you have a glass top dining table, it will likely gain a scratch or two in its time, no matter how careful you are with it. So, you may be wondering how to get this scratch off of the table. Many people now have glass top dining room table, as they have gained in popularity significantly over the years.
Don’t try to cover up your scratches on your beautiful table. You can easily get them out. And I know you bought that table so people could see it, not so you could cover it up with a tablecloth!
Most of the time, you can remove these scratches by yourself. No need to go out and pay somebody a ton of money to do so. Only if the scratch is quite deep should the owner call a repair company about it. Generally, if it is more than 1/8″ deep, then you should call a professional. Most scratches should not get this deep.
To remove shallow scratches, try using an abrasive toothpaste. Use this along with a soft cloth and scrub. Prior to doing this, be sure to clean the area thoroughly, so as to prevent further scratches. An alternative to the soft cloth is a buffer. You can use this with the toothpaste and get rid of the scratch easily. I recommend this to anyone with arthritis, as it can take some strength to rub out a scratch.
If the toothpaste doesn’t work, do not fret. You can simply try a harsher abrasive. Metal and jewelry cleaners are a good option. Apply these as noted above and try again. This should do the trick. Be cautious though, because this can lead to hundreds of small scratches in the surface.
If you are uncomfortable using the toothpaste on your glass top dining table, try using a mixture of vinegar and water. Use this whenever you need to clean you table as well. Many people swear by this method.

Some people believe that there is no such thing as a true gas convection oven. They say that it is impossible because the fans would blow out the gas. This is simply untrue. There are gas ovens which work on the convection principle.
Convection means that the oven has fans which blow the hot air, so that the entire oven is the same temperature. This is better than a standard oven which will get hotter in the places closer to the heat source. The convection oven allows heat to be dispersed more evenly.
A convection gas oven can speed up cooking time by up to 25% using the same heat settings and same amount of power. This is due to the increased efficiency from the consistency of the heat in the oven. When you first buy one, this may be hard to get used to. Pay attention the first few times you cook, because if you let it cook as long as you used to, it may burn.
In addition to quicker cooking, you will likely experience a more thorough cooking. For example, if cooking a turkey, it will brown all over, instead of just on the top. This means you will no longer have cold spots in your food. It also means that you will spend less time flipping items in your oven.
The one thing that you need to keep in mind is that the furnace ignitor will need to be replaced every five years or so. This is not a difficult process and most people can do it themselves.
You can get a gas convection wall oven, or a traditional under the range convection oven. This purely depends on your taste and the space and style of your kitchen. I wouldn’t recommend, however, getting a commercial gas convection oven, unless you were cooking professionally, or own a restaurant or catering business.

Do you have guests over often? Or, maybe only once in a blue moon, but it is enough people that they do not fit at your dining room table? The best solution for lack of space at a table is to get an extending dining table.
Normally, you will use your extendable dining table as it is–without the leaves. This will likely make it just the right size for your family’s meals. Only when company is coming over-be it a holiday, birthday, or just a special Sunday dinner-you can add the leaves and your extending dining table will not fit several more people.
You can get a round extending dining table, or a square one. These are generally the most popular shapes for a table. Try to look and see which one will fit in your space the best and seat as many people as you need it to.

A 3 way fridge is a portable refrigerator which is generally used in RV’s or for camping. They are called 3 way fridges because they can be powered three different ways: by electricity, by propane, and by generator.
This is a great maintenance free type of cooling system. There are no compressors or moving parts that need to be replaced. It runs on circulated ammonia water to cool the fridge. The only ‘issue’ may be that the unit needs to stay level in order to stay cool. This is simply a function of design.
There are also 2 way fridges which are quite popular as well. These generally do not have the electricity option. The 12V electricity option is good for travel times, when you have the electricity on anyway and do not want to use up propane. It doesn’t work fully, but it is good for maintenance.
The generator connection generally works for your own generators as well as camp site or ’shore’ connections. This is one of the most efficient ways to use your 3 way fridge.
The propane connection is the best for when you are camping in the middle of nowhere- which really is what camping is for!
If you are afraid of your 3 way camping fridge warming up before you get to your destination, then you may want to try pre-cooling the 3 way fridge before you go and leaving some very cold items in it. This should keep cold enough that the items and the fridge will stay cold.
One of the most popular and well know brands is the Dometic 3 way fridge. This type of 3 way fridge consistently gets the best reviews and lasts the longest.
Older 3 way fridges just have a fridge in them, if you buy a newer model, you can get one which has a freezer in it as well. You will really like this if you are traveling in the summer. When it gets to be 90-100 degrees out, you will be happy to have ice pops in the fridge!

Dishwashers are quite the modern convenience. They save you time and energy. Nobody likes to wash dishes! There are many other chores and things that you need to spend your time on, that it is much simpler to let a dishwasher do the work for you!
There are many different types of dishwashers, including: built-in dishwashers, stand-alone dishwashers and countertop dishwashers. The built it dishwasher is by far the most popular and is generally what you think of when you hear the term dishwasher. However, the countertop dishwasher can definitely be quite more versatile than the built in.
The countertop dishwasher is great for a smaller family, or even a home with only one or two people. They are great for smaller amounts of dishes, or for someone who doesn’t do dishes often. Instead of leaving your dishwasher forever, so that it can fill up with dishes, you can do your dishes more often without worrying that the dishwasher is not full.
You will normally keep your countertop dishwasher next to the sink, because it will hook up to your sink to work. This keeps it in a very usable spot. You will also need a power source nearby, but in most kitchens this is not an issue. Make sure you follow the directions closely when hooking up the connection to the sink, you do not want leaks!
These dishwashers work with normal dishwashing detergent that you buy in the store. Nothing special.
If you live somewhere where you get hard water to your home, you may want to get dishwashing soap as well.

To put it simply, a mini oven is a simplified, smaller version of your normal oven. These are very helpful when you are living in a very small space, for example a studio apartment or dorm room. You can easily use it to cook personal pizzas or other small frozen specialties.
An electric mini oven can be used as an alternative to a microwave because it can be more efficient and the food comes out less soggy and more like it was cooked in an oven. This also uses less electricity than a microwave. So you will be conserving energy as well.
Mini ovens are simple to use, just follow the directions on whatever you are going to cook. They work just the same way as a normal oven–just smaller and more convenient.
You can get a mini oven in many different brands and styles. Do some research and find which one is best for you. I have found that one of the best is the Dualit mini oven.
You may want to look at what kinds of features the different mini ovens come with. There are some which come with hot plates on top. This will let you make multiple parts of one meal at the same time. For example, you can make soup on top while cooking chicken in the oven.
There are others which may help you grill or do other specific tasks in you r mini oven. These may have special attachments or settings which allow you to do these things.
You may also want to consider the general decor in your home. You will want to buy a mini oven which matches your decor, not which stands out a lot. Look around a bit and you should be able to find ones of different colors and styles.
Generally, they will have a light inside, which you can turn on from the outside so that you can see how done your food is. This is better than opening it, because you will let all of the heat out. You may also wish to get a warming plate which will keep the food warm while you are preparing to eat it, warming it in the oven may cause burning, so you may want to consider this instead.

When it comes time to purchase appliances, often we go into sticker shock from the insanely high prices that are being charged for basic major home appliances. We begin wondering if there is another way Perhaps a way to get discount appliances? Well, there is. It’s called scratch and dent appliances.
Many times, when you go to a discount appliance store, this is actually what you will be getting. Many people are not happy with appliances that are only slightly damaged and so the original store sends them to scratch and dent appliances. Please remember that when you buy scratch and dent appliances that you will be giving up bonuses offered by main stores like free delivery, installation and warranty. Depending on who you are, this may be worth it to go and just get the regular appliance at the high end price. If you cannot get it home and are not comfortable installing it, then those things may cost just as much as the new one would, except the new one also includes a warranty!
